Located in La Torre, a hillside village that stretches from the marshes of Fucecchio to the green woods of Cerbaie, the family-run La Castellina farm holiday complex has 14 hectares of land, since 1998 all cultivated using organic farming methods, as guaranteed by the AIAB (Italian Organic Farming Association). On the farm, we produce and directly sell olive oil, cereals and a vast variety of vegetables and pulses. We have made three apartments for guests in the restructured farmhouse, which are furnished in a rustic Tuscan style. Also available is a large outdoor area for guests’ relaxation and enjoyment. Our south-facing terraces in front of the house and alongside the former hay barn have a charming view over the marshes of Fucecchio (and more), and are equipped with a pergola and gazebo with barbecue, a play area for children, table tennis, table football and from 1st May to 30th September, a 6 x 13-metre swimming pool with hydromassage and solarium. It is also possible to go walking and mountain biking on the country trails and roads through the woods in the area. Thanks to many years’ experience in natural and macrobiotic diets, upon request we can offer guests vegetarian dishes and alternatives to our traditional meals.
